For over seventeen years, Cheryl Suh has been assisting clients in securing and maintaining trademark protection for their valuable marks and portfolios. From inception to consequent renewals, Cheryl ensures that each mark receives all the legal protections to which it is entitled and deserves. Cheryl is responsible for conducting and reviewing clearance searches; preparing applications for registration and responses to office actions from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; preparing and filing declarations of use and incontestability; and filing applications for renewal. Cheryl also coordinates and supervises foreign filing programs to ensure that U.S. marks receive maximum protection in other countries.
Cheryl's clients and colleagues consistently benefit from her deep knowledge of trademark filing requirements and regulations and strong organizational skills. She has handled thousands of trademark filings and renewals for some of the most widely recognized brands as well as start-up entities.
Before joining Kelly IP, Cheryl was a Senior Trademark Legal Assistant at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP in Washington, D.C.
Cheryl earned her BA in economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
